Vendor Biography

I Sunandini Jayant have two attributes that have brought me this far – practice and experience. The more I practiced the more joy I experienced; the more I painted the more I honed my skills and the better I steadied my hand.

I won’t call myself completely self- taught as there have been teachers along the way guiding me and giving me wings to fly, and to them I will be eternally grateful. I took to art at a young age like fish to water, swimming along, painting what I was taught, adding to it my own thoughts and ideas.

I have dabbled in many mediums like water colors, oils, acrylics and fabric painting and in many forms from tribal arts to the more classical versions, at times putting some of these forms together to create something new.

It is through art that I pray, it is through art that I meditate, and it is through art that I experience my world.
