Heliconias in a Triptych

Say hello to these Heliconias!

Native to South and Central America and the Southwest Pacific Islands,
Heliconia is named after Mount Helicon, the seat of the Muses of the arts and sciences. Heliconia represents youth, pride, and great returns.

I’m not surprised that this gorgeous flower is named after the Goddess of artistic inspiration; for they bloomed and danced in the breeze and rains and got me to pick up my brush and how!!
